Her passion for people and development led her to receive a Bachelor’s in Sociology from George Mason University, Master of Divinity from Howard University, and a Doctorate of Ministry from United Theological Seminary, where her dissertation focused on Leadership Structure and Development.
Dr. Rawlings is the Founder of Jireh’s Place non-profit organization, created to provide young ladies age 12-17 with the necessary resources and tools for successful living. Dr. Rawlings possesses over 12 years of experience in Operational Management and served as an Adjunct Professor at Marymount University, where she taught freshman students Personal and Leadership Development. Dr. Rawlings is also the Pastor of Kingdom Fellowship Church, Alexandria, VA.
In 2019, Dr. Rawlings was the only woman recognized by WPRS Praise 104.1 for leading Kingdom Fellowship Church, the 2018 recipient of the Keeper of the Community Award from the community of the Ft. Myer Military Base, the 2016 recipient of the Alexandria’s Women’s Commission Award for being a “Rising Star”, the 2015 recipient of the “Honored Citizen” Award for her work done with Jireh’s Place within Arlington County Public Schools, and the 2014 recipient of the Speak Life Youth Leadership Award.
